Random rants

Search engine is a German website that runs some really neat camera tests. They always post a resolution chart test, often at several frame rates and settings. Really useful to see how sharp and clean the image from a given camera will be. Like: what's the real world resolution? And does it hava aliasing or moire?

But I needed a place where I could easily compare all their results, so I created the table below. These are 100% crops from the center of the chart, unless otherwise stated. Also: the table has links to the articles where these images come from, and I strongly suggest you click on them to get a fuller picture of the capabilities of each camera.

This is the list sorted by real resolution, this one is sorted brand and model, and this one has some tests in 4K mode.
