Shashcam.de is a German website that runs some really neat camera tests. They always post a resolution chart test, often at several frame rates and settings. Really useful to see how sharp and clean the image from a given camera will be. Like: what's the real world resolution? And does it hava aliasing or moire?

But I needed a place where I could easily compare all their results, so I created the table below. These are 100% crops from the center of the chart, unless otherwise stated. Also: the table has links to the articles where these images come from, and I strongly suggest you click on them to get a fuller picture of the capabilities of each camera.

This is the list of cameras that shoot 4K, and in this case the chart was shot filling just half of the horizontal axis of the image (filling the image with the chart leads no results, all these 4K cameras clearly outresove the chart). This table is sorted brand and model, and this one is sorted by real resolution.
